Found this interesting piece displayed at the Taiping Museum - A howdah. According to the description, the howdah is an ornate carraige positioned on the back of elephant. In the past the Indians depended on elephants for transportation, and their influence on mode of transportation had spread to Siam, and eventually to the penisula Malaysia. This is the only known collection of Howdah in Malaysia. So, please visit the Taiping Museum to have a peek.

Photo #01 - Life is like a flower

Life is like a flower. It started with a bud, then it blossoms. But no matter how beautiful it blooms, the finality of life is such, it will eventually withered. Budding, blossoming, and withering - isn't this the unavoidable 3 stages of life each and everyone has to go through ?

These flowers caught my attention this morning. It inspires me to pay closer attention to my surrounding, and hence the initiation of this blog. What I will be doing is, for the next 365 days, I will take along my old digital camera, to steal shot of digital image surrounding me.
